Bichinhos de Halloween

Hoje é noite de Halloween. Não acho piada. Hoje foi dia de actividades e as crianças foram convidadas a comparecerem mascaradas... como só recebi a informação no email que chegou ontem às 23h não tive tempo para muita criatividade. 

Hoje de manhã peguei no meu lápis de olhos e nas sombras e lá fiz uns narizes e bigodes nos meus três bichinhos. A concorrência era de peso, abóboras, esqueletos e vampiras altamente industrializados. Contudo receberam vários comentários e elogios porque estavam assustadoramente fofinhas!
Ainda assim e no espírito do momento estamos viciadas na história "Room on the Broom" em todas as suas versões, filme (curta metragem) e livros. As ilustrações maravilhosas e o conto cativante deixaram-nos apaixonadas por uma carinhosa bruxa e o seu gato refilão.

Today is Halloween night. I´m not fond of it. Today was toddler group day and children were invited to attend with costumes... as I only received the information by email yesterday at 11 pm, there was no time for much creativity.

This morning I picked up my eye pencil and some shadows and draw some noses and whiskers on my three little cubs. The competition was heavyweight,  pumpkins, skeletons and vampires, all highly industrialized. However, the girls have got a lot of compliments because they are terrifying cute!

Still, in the heat of the moment, we are addicted in "Room on the broom" in all its versions, film (short film) and books. The wonderful images and the captivating tale left us in love with the loving witch and her cat.
