Queques!
Estar diariamente em casa com três crianças é um desafio.
Todos os dias me desdobro numa multiplicidade de tarefas numa tentativa de, com regras e rotinas, que os dias não sejam sempre iguais.
Nos dias em que não têm actividades de manhã - terça-feira vão ao encontro de bebés com música, dança e jogos e quarta-feira fazem ballet - procuro fazer algo diferente.
Hoje foi dia de fazer queques e até a Pilar já quis participar!
Optando por receitas simples e tendo já os ingredientes pesados antes das pequenas ajudantes chegarem, acaba por ser uma tarefa divertida e com uma componente educativa!
Outras vezes fazemos trabalhos manuais! Plasticina ou desenhos criativos com materiais reciclados, folhas do jardim, autocolantes...
Quando o tempo permite tratamos do jardim, apanhar folhas, cortar pequenos ramos, arrancar ervas ou vamos até ao parque perto de casa.
Se queremos actividades mais motoras e temos de estar por casa, dançamos, fazemos cambalhotas, rodamos (tentamos!) o arco na cintura!
Mais para o fim do dia gostamos de ler histórias, fazer desenhos ou construir casas com lego ou fazer papinhas na cozinha de brincar, o que me liberta para tratar do jantar.
E enquanto fazem a sesta vou ali tomar um café com um queque para ganhar energia para tratar das limpezas!
Staying at home with three children every day is a challenge.
Every day I unfold myself in a multiplicity of tasks in an attempt, with rules and routines, that the days are not always the same.
On the days they do not have morning activities — Tuesday they have toddler group with music, dance and games and on Wednesday they have ballet — I try to do something different.
Today was the day to make muffins and even Pilar already wanted to participate!
By opting for simple recipes and having the heavy ingredients before the little helpers start, it turns out to be a fun task with an educational component!
Sometimes we do manual work! Play-dooh or creative designs with recycled materials, garden leaves, stickers...
When weather allows we do the garden, picking leaves, cutting small branches, plucking herbs or just go the park close to home.
If we want more physical activities and we have to be at home, we dance, we do gymnastics, we roll (we try!) the ring around the waist!
Towards the end of the day, we like to read stories, make drawings or build houses with Lego, or make food in their playing kitchen, which allows me to start making dinner.
And while they are doing their nap I'll have a coffee with a cupcake to gain energy to start some cleaning!
